Dark Chocolate Pudding.

DARK CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Quick No Cooking required Desert.

As it sounds it involves taking in loads of calories but its totally worth it. Exercise and Fitness freaks please exercise a little more but please make and eat this.

For the Filling

Cream
Vanilla Essence
Dark Chocolate bars
A little milk

For the Base

Dark Chocolate Biscuits
Melted butter

For the garnish
Dark Chocolate pieces
Whipped cream or Icecream

Method

For the filling.
Whip the cream with vanilla essence till it forms soft peaks and refrigerate. In a microwave proof bowl take the dark chocolate, milk and the cream filling from the dark chocolate biscuits and microwave for 1 minute or till the chocolate melts, mix everything with a spoon so it combines properly. The trick to this desert is to keep the cream light and fluffy, so once the chocolate mixture is cooled fold in the cream, do not beat it in as u will make it heavy and all the air in the cream during whipping will escape.  Refrigerate this mixture.

For the Base
Crush the dark chocolate biscuits till it forms a coarse granule, do not powder them, mix in the butter and layer it in a square dish, press down firmly and refrigerate for 30 mins or till the base is set. Pour in the chocolate cream mixture into the set base and refrigerate for 1 hour or till u are ready to serve.

Serve in a bowl with whipped cream and chocolate pieces on the top.

As you might have noticed there is no added sugar in this recipe as the cream from the chocolate biscuits and dark chocolate are sweet and it takes care of the sugar requirements in this dish.
